Kitchen Towel Facelift

Towels in action at my MIL's house

For Mother's Day last year I made both my Mom and my soon to be Mother in Law (in 39 days!) aprons. They turned out pretty good and both of the Moms loved them. I had some left over fabric and after reading a blog post from The Mini Manor on a kitchen towel idea I decided they would be the perfect Mother's Day gift.

They turned out great! AND they were really easy.

Here's what I did:
1. Wash and dry the fabric and towels.
2. Iron fabric.
3. Cut out fabric to shapes and sizes desired
4. Fold edges under and iron over the fold.
5. Pin fabric to towel
6. Sew around edges.
7. Be really happy because you just made super cute, custom towels!

*On a few of my towels I skipped step #4 because I wanted them to look a little frayed after a few washes.

And here's how they turned out...
