Lost in Translation...

Translating language is not a perfect science-even a computer doesn't always get it right. In the early days of computers a reporter entered the English phrase; "out of sight out of mind". The Russian result was translated back to English; invisible idiot.Advertisement for donkey rides in Thailand? ; would you like to ride your own ass?These were some of the results I found while trying to find a translation for a tee shirt our Belgium friends sent my husband while in Turkey.

The groom is modeling this 'nonsensical' shirt, it says "I'm a hot guy can I get your number?  With a large sprinkled donut in the middle. We are still scratching our heads.
But we will thank them for the gift that escaped our English translation. Because there is one saying that is the same in any language; "you never look a gift horse in the mouth".
